Student Outcomes

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) program must be able to:
    • apply knowledge of mathematics, physical, life and information sciences; and engineering sciences
    • appropriate to the field of practice;
    • design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data;
    • design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within identified constraints;
    • work effectively in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams;
    • formulate, and solve engineering problems;
    • recognize professional, social, and ethical responsibility;
    • effectively communicate orally and in writing using the English language;
    • understand of the effects of engineering solutions in a comprehensive context;
    • engage in life-long learning and an understanding of the need to keep current of the developments in the
    • specific field of practice;
    • update with contemporary issues;
    • use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.

    Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BSIE) program must be able to:

    • apply knowledge of mathematics, physical and information sciences, and engineering sciences to the practice of industrial engineering;
    • design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data;
    • design, build, improve, and install systems or processes which are efficient, effective, as well as robust to
    • meet desired needs within identified constraints;
    • to work effectively in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams;
    • formulate and solve engineering problems;
    • recognize professional, social, and ethical responsibility;
    • effectively communicate orally and in writing using the English language;
    • understand of the effects of engineering solutions in a comprehensive context;
    • engage in life-long learning and an understanding of the need to keep current of the developments in the
      specific field of specialization;
    • use the techniques, skills, and engineering tools necessary for engineering and business practice;
    • perform services in the form of analysis, design, preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, and implementation of:
      • work standards
      • statistical process control systems
      • production planning and materials control systems
      • manufacturing and service facilities
      • operations research models for production and operations
      • information systems
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN CIVIL ENGINEERING
Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) program must be able to:
    • apply knowledge of mathematics, physical sciences, engineering sciences to the
      practice of civil engineering;
    • design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data;
    • design, build, improve, and install systems or processes which meet desired needs
      within realistic constraints;
    • work effectively in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams;
    • recognize, formulate, and solve civil engineering problems;
    • understand the effects and impact of civil engineering projects on nature and society; and of the civil
      engineers’ social and ethical responsibilities;
    • specialize engineering knowledge in each applicable field, and the ability to apply such knowledge
      to provide solutions to actual problems;
    • effectively communicate orally and in writing using the English language;
    • engage in life-long learning and an acceptance of the need to keep current of the
      development in the specific field of specialization;
    • use the appropriate techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for the practice of civil
      engineering; and
    • update with contemporary issues.

    BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING
    Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE) program must be able to:

    • apply knowledge of mathematics, sciences, and engineering sciences to the practice of computer
      engineering;
    • design and conduct experiments as well as analyze and interpret data;
    • design a system to meet desired needs;
    • work effectively in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams;
    • identify, formulate, and solve computer engineering problems;
    • understand of professional and ethical responsibility;
    • communicate effectively in verbal and non-verbal communication;
    • understand impact of engineering solutions in a global/societal context;
    • engage in life-long learning and to keep current of the development in a specific field of specialization;
    • update with contemporary issues;
    • use appropriate techniques, skills, and modern tools necessary for computer engineering practice to be
      locally and globally competitive;
    • apply acquired computer engineering knowledge and skills for national development.

    BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
    Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) program must be able to:
    • apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering;
    • design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data;
    • design a system, component or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints;
    • function on multi-disciplinary teams;
    • identify, formulate and solve engineering problems;
    • understand of professional and ethical responsibilities;
    • communicate effectively in both Filipino and English languages;
    • understand of the impact of engineering solutions in a global and societal context;
    • use techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for mechanical
      engineering practice.
