The UPH – Dr. Jose G. Tamayo Medical University, College of Radiologic Technology formally opened and admitted enrollees in the Associate in Radiologic Technology Program (A.R.T.) in 1993 and Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology in 1996
Vision
The Radiologic Technology profession aspire to form competent Radiologic Technologist committed in the health services of man, community and God in a sense of global solidarity in the spirit of international standard and application of scientific technique in medical radiography. |

Mission
The College of Radiologic Technology will provide excellence in radiological sciences education by imparting to the students the clinical and academic competency which will enable them to be key figure in the diagnostic imaging section of the health care team.
Objective
-
To provide quality education in the preparation of Radiologic Technologist to meet the standards and requirements of the individuals disciplines.

To produce an avenue for lateral and vertical career mobility for Radiologic Technology students and graduates.

To prepare students to think critically and be able to integrate knowledge and experience from disciplines.

To develop the students’ ability to function as an active member of the health team, apply ethical standards and values to the practice of Radiologic science and appreciate social cultural diversity.

To encourage Radiologic Technology students, professionals and faculty in the advancement of knowledge through lifelong learning and research.
Education of Radiologic Technology
The students under the Radiologic Technology curriculum approved by Commission on Higher Education (CHED) consisting of General Education subjects which include Social Sciences, English, History and Physical Sciences. Professional subjects includes Anatomy and Physiology, Radiation Biology and Protection Radiographic Techniques, Radiation Physics, Special Procedure with Contrast, Radiographic positioning and Radiologic procedure, Department of Ethics and jurisprudence, Radiologic Pathology, CT Scan, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Radiotherapy, Nuclear Medicine and Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
