Engine Cadet John Mathew Pag-ong, a student from UPHSL College of Maritime Education was declared as the Grand Winner in the Logo Design Competition during the 46th Annual Convention of Philippine Association of Maritime Institutions held on February 17-18, 2021.

Cadet Pag-ong logo’s concept symbolizes the ocean which according to him it keeps the maritime industry more alive and innovative. He bring about in his art-work that there is an Association that guides everyone to be more efficient and that is the Philippine Association of Maritime Institution.

Being the proclaimed winner, the masterpiece of Cadet Pag-ong will be used as the official Logo of the Philippine Association of Maritime Institutions.
