UPHSL Joins ALS Graduation Honoring PDL Learners’ Journey of Hope and Transformation
In steadfast support of the Alternative Learning System (ALS), the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna (UPHSL) proudly joined the recognition ceremony of Biñan Integrated National High School (BINHS) held at the Biñan City Jail (BJMP). The event honored the courage, transformation, and determination of ALS learners who are Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), celebrating their commitment to completing their education despite life’s challenges.
UPHSL took part in the Araw ng Pagtatapos at Pagkilala for the Academic Year 2025–2026 on March 25, 2026, recognizing the inspiring journey of the completers. Their perseverance reflects the power of education as a tool for hope, growth, and second chances. Anchored on the theme, “Pilipinong Nagsipagtapos: Handang Mamuno Nang May Kakayahan at Mabuting Pagkatao,” the ceremony highlighted not only academic achievement but also the values of resilience, integrity, and hope. Each completer stands as a testament that education knows no boundaries and that determination can overcome even the toughest circumstances.
Representing the UPHSL Team in this meaningful initiative were Dr. Peter S. Estellore, Corporate Marketing Director; Dr. Josefa Carillo, Director for International and External Affairs; Ninna Gabrielle Sabando, Content Writer; and Jade Allen R. Pilar, Virtual Marketing Assistant, whose presence further strengthened the University’s commitment to community engagement and inclusive education.
Through its participation, UPHSL reaffirms its mission to uplift communities by supporting programs that open doors to learning and personal transformation. The University celebrates alongside the ALS completers, recognizing their strength, perseverance, and unwavering spirit.
Congratulations to all completers and awardees—may this milestone mark the beginning of even greater opportunities ahead.
