ARBOR ALLIES | A THOUSAND TREES FOR THE SILANG SANTA ROSA RIVER
The event commenced with an opening ceremony where key officials from the City Government of Santa Rosa and Nuvali addressed the participants. They emphasized the importance of collective efforts in environmental conservation and the specific goals of the day's activities.
Participants were divided into groups and assigned specific areas within the designated planting site. Each group with saplings and necessary tools. The species of trees chosen were native and suited to the local environment, ensuring a higher survival rate and greater ecological benefit.
"Save Silang-Santa Rosa River (SR2) Foundation" tree planting activity on June 29, 2024, was a resounding success, marked by enthusiastic participation and significant contributions to environmental rehabilitation.
The University of Perpetual System Laguna, along with other participants, played a crucial role in this collaborative effort, highlighting the power of community involvement in addressing environmental challenges.
